a hamster that knows how to come back, or rather, don't know how to leave the house

Tuesday, November 24, 2009
After going missing for more than 24 hours and thoughts that it could be in the stomach of hungry cats prowling the streets, or shivering in the cold with no food and water, my hammie came back! She didn't leave the house after all and was hiding somewhere (which even with the super most powerful torch in my house couldn't shine her out).

And it seems like she's still itching for more adventures.

english songs

Monday, November 23, 2009
I dont really like to hear jrockers sing english songs, with the exception of Abingdon Boys School (it still has the Takanori flavour). Yes, not even HYDE. His japanese works are excellent (his solo works i mean, not VAMPS) but his english ones are blah. At least to me anyway.

BUT. I love love love love his Evergreen english version. I'll put it on a par to his japanese version one, although the japanese version is more ballady and english one, more rock. And plus, the english lyrcis really make sense and beautiful too.

lie awake beside the windowsill
Like a flower in a vase
A moment caught in glass.. Mmm

The rays of sunlight come and beckon me..
To a sleepy dreamy haze
A sense of summer days.. aa

If only I could stop the flow of time
Turn the clock to yesterday
Erasing all the pain.. mm

I've only memories of happiness
Such pleasure we have shared
I'd do it all again

This scenery is evergreen
As buds turn into leaves
The colours live and breathe
This scenery is evergreen
Your tears are falling silently

So full of joy you are a child of spring
With a beauty that is pure
An innocence endures.. aa

You flow right through me like a medicine
Bringing quiet to my soul
Without you I'm not whole

This scenery is evergreen
I need you far too much
I long to feel your touch
This scenery is evergreen
You've always been so dear to me

This scenery is evergreen
It sorrows at the sight of seeing you so sad
This scenery is evergreen
I wish that I could dry your tears

The bells have rung the time has come
I cannot find the words to say my last goodbye
This scenery is evergreen
You've always been so dear too me

samsung p3

Saturday, November 14, 2009
I want a Samsung P3!

Samsung heard me! I was thinking whether it was possible to have bluetooth in mp3 player and boo! P3 has it! :D
Of course that's not the only reason why i wanted P3. I kinda like Samsung's mp3 player because of their quality. Philip's sound quality isnt as good as Samsung's one so I'm definitely going back to Samsung for mp3 players.

$299 for a 16GB one. (Bonus come early please!)

twelve kingdoms

Thursday, November 12, 2009
Listening to a track from Twelve Kingdom's many OSTs titled Junigenmukyoku (accoustic). Really love the erhu sound in the track. Sorrowful. Love that anime, bittersweet ending.

Anyway, talking about that sound track, there was a china show sometime back on channel 8 that has the EXACT same tune (and instrument).

I wonder if its a case of blatant copyright infringement.

In the middle of OT but seeing that i have only about 25 more minutes to go, i'm totally giving in to the temptations of Internet (and music).
