Poor kitty. It was meowing so loudly few weeks back and i finally found it lurking near my block. Guess it was looking for its mummy.

Cute.

My hammies are telling me to get a proper camera to take their photos because they don't like their pictures to come out blur .

Clouds are pretty.

face reading

Tuesday, March 16, 2010
Well, according to my face reading, the period between 20 or 21 - 31 will not be smooth for me.

I dont see myself as overly superstitious, but knowing how accurate face reading is, scares me off a little.

Uh-oh. What a nice news it is to start off my 21st year of life. Oh well, guess i'll just have to take it as it comes.

Vanilla Twilight

Tuesday, March 9, 2010
Currently putting that and Kanno Yoko's Kiseki no Umi on repeat.

LOL.

Vanilla Twilight kinda gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. Must be the j-rockers with their weird english lyrics that made me want to listen to a real english song for once. Or twice.

time flies

How time flies.

Kinda miss the IP days with Seri and Cavin. Our project wasn't the most spectacular, but the days spent to finish it were memorable. Meetings with supervisors were kinda fun, except that their expectations were somewhat different from ours, hence the awkward situations sometimes. LOL.

The iMac lab was definitely our favourite room because of the space and comfort, and 2 sound proof user testing rooms, which meant we could take advantage of the sofa :D. Not surprisingly, others had the same thought and we shared it with rowdy students more often than not.

I think we did more gossips and talking than work (well, which group doesn't?), and often forced Cavin to join in our girly conversations (and Cavin being himself, would be more than willing to join).

Staying till late to L4D with the others up in MP room was fun too :D

Andalucia ni akogarete

Saturday, March 6, 2010
Johnny's Entertainment sure like this song. Artists under JE have been performing this song in count downs, concert, tv shows etc.

Andalucia ni Akogarete by Imai Tsubasa (1st one) and Domoto Koichi.

I believe this might be even way before Takki & Tsubasa debut together. Either that they *just* started. Tsubasa looks shockingly young. And Tsubasa will go on to become one of the best dancers in Johnny's Entertainment.

That's the pop version of the song. Found the rock version and i quite like it. No glitzy dance costumes, no dance steps, no back dancers, just a group of guys playing drums, guitars and even piano. Mashima Masatoshi has a very unique voice. Wait till you get to the chorus. I love that part.

No idea when that concert was, but he's born in 1962. That will make him 48y/o this year.

A post made just to kill my time.

I think i've got a sore throat.

Kinda excited about the upcoming IT show because i think i can finally buy my Samsung P3 and PSP! Not too sure about P3 price but i'm hoping the 8GB will fall below 200 (or at least not over 210). P3 was $279 at the last fair, but i can't remember if it was for 16GB or 8GB.

Sony targeted PSP's shelf life to be around 10 years, but i think they are killing it faster with the launch of PSPGo. Games for PSPGo are only sold through Sony's online site (which i'm guessing is only accessible with credit cards), that also means Sony can decide how high their price goes, aka monopoly market. You won't be able to sell the games once you decided to buy it, and most importantly, PSPGo isn't as beautiful as its previous models.

I kid, that isn't the most important.

But seriously, the way PSPGo games are sold is a solid and good enough reason why i won't even consider PSPGo. Hell, i rather have a DS (though i don't really like the idea of having a stylus poking at the screen). At least DS have Pokemon and Mario and Rock Band (and not to mention my Gintama and D-Gray-man games are for DS too)!

Damn the cockroaches

Thursday, March 4, 2010
Saw one big ass cockroach hiding behind the kitchen sliding glass door. I tell you, that cockroach was CLEVER. I had the light switched on, and the cockroach tried to hide itself so that it wont be seen from the outside (but too bad i already saw it).

Made a mad dash out into the living room, knocking violently into the chest-high dinning chair along the way. Cut the long story short, mum had to force it out with the insecticide and me crushing it with the newspaper.

I definitely can feel the bruise on my left ribcage now.

Aloha Loyang

Had a 2 day 3 night over at Aloha Loyang on the 20th to 22th. It was grandma's birthday. Good place, just a little too isolated from the convenience of bowling, movie etc. Not that i care about spending my whole time at Downtown East.

So at the first night, Anisah came over! Asked Nitika as well but she cant come. If the chalet was mine, i would have asked a lot more, esp the drama mama gang and my poly gang, but the chalet was ultimately not mine and i didn't want to invite more than 2.
Anyway, Anis came over quite late but i guess she managed to have eat a rather filling dinner. Buffet was vegetarian spread. Took a pathetic short walk from the chalet to the main building and talked more. Kinda miss doing that. Went back to the chalet at 10 and she started teaching me some french. I couldn't help thinking about Pink Panther after that. Sexy language, but it's kinda tiring on the throat because of the articulation.
Her parents came to pick her up shortly later and the first thing i saw was her little brother. Cute. Hahaha XD

Nothing much happened after that, except for more mahjong and Wii the next day. Honestly, i'm not a game person but Wii really keeps me wanting for more. More tennis, more bowling, more Bleach (ok not really Bleach because it's difficult to play and layout was confusing), and got me interested in Taiko Drum Master. I wanted to try Mario but i decided it was more fun to see people try and sacrifice each other to advance to the next stage when they are supposed to work together as a team.

Things died down when people started leaving on Sunday night, leaving my family, grandma, aunt and other uncle and his wife.

Should I have a chalet this year? But i really dont like the idea of people crowding me and singing Happy Birthday, take my pictures, me cutting the cake etc.

I'm thinking of having a separate outing for my poly mates and drama mamas, not that i'm being bias, but i can really see awkward moments if i bring the two together, and i will hardly have any time for each individual in such a big group o.o

We shall see...

Dreams

Monday, March 1, 2010
I know i dreamt a lot the night before, but i can only remember about a Brachiosaurus or a loch ness of some sort on board of a pirate ship, which was travelling underwater, and me telling the Brachi-lochness to be careful because a killer whale just chomped off another Brachi-lochness.
