On another note, test coming this Sunday and my grasp of the Kenjougo and Sonkeigo is bleh. Oh, found a very good comparison about the use of the Keigo, Teineigo, casual and well, rude way of asking 'What are you doing?'. Not really the exact word from the (can't rmb) webpage, but the meaning is there.

English: What are you doing?

Sonkeigo: 何をなさいますか。 (Nani o nasaimasuka.)
Speaker asking listener. Using the highest from, aka SOnkeigo to ask the listener denotes the higher status of the listener. A.k.a Teacher, CEO of company, Royalty. Omit the usage of this when talking to them calls for execution and the likes.


Teineigo: 何をしますか。 (Nani o shimasuka.)
Teineigo. a.k.a. the -masu form, which EVERYONE will start off with when they (non natives) first learn Japanese. This gives a polite tone.


Casual: なにをする？ (Nani o suru?)
Use strictly only between families and close friends. Yup, not even acquaintances.


Rude: 何しやがれ？！ (Nani shiyagare?!)
The more, well, uncouth or rude or ah beng style. You can normally hear this style in animes. If im not wrong "Shiyagare" roughly translate to an angry tone. Something like 'fucking..', which basically means that this sentence = What are you fucking doing?!.
Yeah, very angry.
