to go or not to go?

JRock visual bands, LM.C and SUG, are FINALLY coming to Sg for a (short) concert! 2 very big problems. 1) It's not entirely a rock concert and 2) it is really a steep price to see only 2 bands because they are performing with 2 k-pop groups.

Not fun.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not dissing k-pop but JRock and K-pop (i have problems even with JRock with J-pop)? They def don't mix well, esp with LM.C. With their crazily BRIGHT colour (ok, maybe SUG too) and Maya's crazy antics, I don't think they blend in well with the Pop. And the guitar rifts. Ah. Again, clashes with the Pop.

SUG (wtf? They are under PSCompany??? o.o Kagrra, & The GazettE!!!) , I have never listen to them before and i guess this is a good time to start. But then again, I think SUG might well be under OShare Kei so i guess that is the reason why i never got to listen to them.
Come to think of it, LM.C should also be labeled as OShare Kei but they lean more to electronic rock type. Complicated.

In any case, i wonder how those never-got-in-touch-with-visual-bands-people will react if they realised these 2 bands are heavily bombarded with make-up. It's a pity none of them cross dresses.

As reported in Straits Times, this is indeed the FIRST time any JRock /Visual Kei (or OShare Kei for that matter.) bands are coming here for concert. It would be the second if MUCC had indeed come to Sg for the Taste of Chaos concert. *Gives MUCC the death stare*

I hope this concert goes well so that other JRock bands will realize its viable to hold concerts in Sg. *waves over to MUCC, Girugamesh, Kagrra, , D'espairRays, the GazettE, HYDE, Abingdon Boys School, Vidoll* As for the indie bands, I guess they don't have enough budget to go overseas D:
